At the end of January our Director of Sales, Deborah O’Donnell and Chief Customer Advocate, David Goldstone attended the Hostmark Leadership Conference in New Orleans, LA as an exhibitor and sponsor. During this event, we attended The Hostmark Associate recognition and award dinner. By far this was the favorite part of the event. “I loved seeing Hostmark recognize fellow peers with their dedication in the hospitality industry,” said Deborah.
Hostmark was hosted at the official Hotel of the National WWII Museum, Higgins Hotel and Conference Center. Throughout the conference, we had the ability to browse through artifacts, artwork, photography, and personal story plaques within the hotel. It was truly moving and told a powerful story. To continue to aid the history, Hostmark arranged tours of the WWII Museum where we were fully immersed in the hotel history.
David and Deborah has the opportunity to meet with Hostmark’s Chairman and Founder, C.A. Cataldo as well as the Jerry, President & CEO and Bob, Vice Chairman & COO. There was nothing less than great conversations and story telling. What David is best known for! Through our conversations we would with great honor continue to attend this event. It was a great opportunity to continue our relationships with the Hostmark Executive Leadership as well as get to know property team individuals. The whole Hostmark team really took the opportunity to engage with every attendee and increase our experiences.
As every conference does, the sessions we were most engaged with were focused on network security, streamlining back-of-house processes and property revenue generation. One of the best topics to understand as a vendor is what is important to the properties and their guests.
All in all, the Hostmark Leadership Conference was an amazing conference. We will see you next year!
